Want to create an egg-tra special kids Easter tablescape that's super simple, stylish and oh-so-affordable? Everything we used to style this table we purchased from Target.
Fortunately we had some craft paper attached to our kids art table so we borrowed some to use as the table runner. If you don't have craft paper, almost anything will do. Be creative! Grab some white paper and create a festive potato stamped design like this.
Setting the table was so much fun and, your kids can help, too! We stacked geometric dinner plates and egg shaped appetizer plates to create a semi-layered look. Target had several colors of these plates so you can choose your scheme.
The plates were topped with mint dyed napkins that we recycled from a baby shower and Easter egg ornaments were used as napkin rings and table filler. Just place them randomly like confetti for an imperfect look.
Finally, we framed it together with solid colored utensils. For those thirsty kids, a charming milk carafe adorned with a pastel striped straw was the perfect touch. Rounding out the look, we found the perfect spring wall hanging to use as a chair sash.
Every table, even a kids table, needs a centerpiece. Pre-made paper garland paired perfect with a decorative egg basket. The eggs we found at Targets dollar spot (win!) and brought them to life with a paint pen, drawing on a geometric design to match the plates. Simply arrange them on multi-colored crinkle shred to your liking.
And, you're done! Kid-friendly tablescape is set with plenty of room for them to squirm at the table without too much decor getting in their way. The best part, it hardly cost a thing and, it gives you an excuse to go to Target!
