It's no secret that I love a good cocktail, but there is just something that is so refreshing about a good mocktail. With Summer officially here, I am putting all of this fresh citrus to use and mixing up a skinny lemonade. I am not sure where I stumbled upon this Coconut water lemonade recipe awhile back, but as of late, It has become a new favorite of mine.
Like most people who drink coconut water on the regular, I am partial to a particular brand. My personal favorite is Taste Nirvana Coconut Water. It is the only coconut water that I have tried that tastes like the water inside a freshly cracked coconut. Which ever brand you prefer will work for this recipe, just make sure that your base is a coconut water that you enjoy drinking on it's own.
1 Mint Leaf (Garnish)
3 Tbsp Agave Nectar
4 Cups Coconut Water
Press the juice of the lemons and limes into a glass. Add ice to a cocktail shaker and combine both the agave nectar and the coconut water with the juice and shake until combined. Garnish with a mint leaf and enjoy this guilt free lemonade.
